D'après le théorème de Pythagore :

[tex]ab {}^{2} = ac {}^{2} + cb {}^{2} [/tex]

[tex]ab {}^{2} = 4.5 {}^{2} + 6 {}^{2} [/tex]

[tex]ab {}^{2} = 20.25 + 36[/tex]

[tex]ab {}^{2} = 56.25[/tex]

[tex]ab = \sqrt{56.25} [/tex]

[tex]ab = 7.5 \: cm[/tex]

Donc [AB] = 7,5 cm

Toujours d'après le théorème de Pythagore :

[tex]fg {}^{2} = eg {}^{2} - ef {}^{2} [/tex]

[tex]fg {}^{2} = 7 {}^{2} - 4 {}^{2} [/tex]

[tex]fg {}^{2} = 49 - 16[/tex]

[tex]fg {}^{2} = 33[/tex]

[tex]fg = \sqrt{33} = 5.7 \: cm[/tex]

Donc [FG] = 5,7 cm arrondie au mm près
