Introduction:

Water pollution isn't a laughing matter, in fact, aproximatly, 1.2 trillion gallons of the worlds water is polluted. All of this is caused by one species, the human race.

Paragraph:

Humans need water to live, according to Buisness Insider a human can survive without water for about 3 days. Without water, the human body will start degrading, by, dehydration. If the rate of water pollution keeps increasing, more people will start to experience the symptoms, and later, be hospitalized, or, sadly, cause fatalities. The causes of this situation are simple: humans, but while it is humans that cause this, they cause a chain reaction that will end with the worlds water being polluted. The chain reaction starts with simple plastic, as the common saying states "Out of sight, out of mind", this means, after you throw away plastic, you stop thinking about it. While you stop thinking about it; the plastic will start polluting the environment, starting with (depending on where it is dumped) the air, it will cause air pollution, which, means that it will harm the humans as the air is toxic, then, the plastic will make land pollution, this means, after contact with the land, it will start realising chemicals that will harm the soil and the eco system surrounding it. After the whole 'ordeal' is done, it will reach the oceans, once in the oceans, the chemicals that are released will start to pollut the water.

A simple solution to this crucial and devastating problem is simple, it is to not just use plastic water bottles, plastic bags, and just plastic in general. To explain more: instead of using plastic bottles, use a reausable water bottle, this will easily save the amount of plastic water bottles being used and will casue less waste, the second will be to reuse bags, companies such as COSTCO, have reusable bags that save plastic and are stronger to carry items. All of these solutions well lessen the amount of plastic that is thrown into the ocean, which, will then end the amount of water pollution that is occuring in the world.

CONCLUSION:

All in all, humans, can easily end the problem of water pollution in the world by taking small, yet, giant steps in the amount of waste that is produced. When humans stop using plastic for their everyday use, they will experience a cloud of warmth when they go into the water; they won't find turtles with straws up their nose, they will find a school of fish swimming freely through the ocean.
