les "question-tag' ► il faut reprendre soit au négatif, si la phrase est positive, soit à l'affirmatif si la phrase est négative. On utilise l'auxiliaire do/did pour des verbes, ou BE et have ou modal (conjugué au même temps)... ( équivaut à "n'est-ce pas ?")

1- The first English immigrants settled in Virginia, didn't they ?

2- The war in Vietnam took place in the 60s, didn't it ?

3- The Rocky Mountains aren't in the east, are they ?

4- The Statue of Liberty has become a symbol of the US, hasn't it ?

5- It never snows in Death Valley, does it ?

6- The Americans don't have the same accent as the British, do they?

7- He will go to London next week, won't he ?
